You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your membership ID and password and user account information. You must notify us immediately in the event of any known or suspected unauthorized use of your user account, or any known or suspected breach of security, including loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of your or anyone else’s password. You are solely responsible for any and all activities which occur under your user account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your user account or any other breach of security known to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Curiosity Knocks Inc. and its affiliates and each of their respective contractors, agents and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site and/or your breach of any representation, warranty, condition or other provision of this Agreement.
Governing Law
If there is any dispute between you and Curiosity Knocks Inc. about or involving this Agreement or the Site, you hereby agree that the dispute shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Waiver
The waiver of any provision of the Agreement shall not be considered a waiver of any other provision or of Curiosity Knocks Inc. right to require strict observance of each of the terms herein. If any provision of the Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid for any reason, that provision shall be severable, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Curiosity Knocks Inc. relating to your use of the Site.
Termination
These terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or Curiosity Knocks Inc. Curiosity Knocks Inc. may deny you access to the Site, if in its sole judgment you fail to comply with any term or provision of the Agreement. The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this Agreement for all purposes, and any obligations and liabilities hereunder with respect to an order submitted prior to the termination date shall continue to apply to such order notwithstanding any termination.
Entire Agreement
Where we send your data
The terms in this Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy section of this Site constitute the entire agreement between Curiosity Knocks Inc. and you regarding the subject matter of this Agreement and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communication, whether electronic, oral or written between Curiosity Knocks Inc. and you with respect to such subject matter. In the event of a conflict between this Agreement and the Privacy Policy, this Agreement shall prevail.
Curiosity Knocks Inc. comprises of networking communities in Communities City of Ottawa wide.
Curiosity Knocks Inc. reserves the right to add or remove communities to Curiosity Knocks Inc. at its discretion.
Curiosity Knocks Inc. may, at its discretion, permit limited numbers of members from each personal or business category, profession or franchise to become members.
Members to engage with other members and guests in a respectful manner. Contact details supplied by other members and guests are to be used solely for the purpose of social and/or professional networking.
Members must first obtain the express permission of another member prior to sending that member any emails.
Members must not intimidate, judge, harass or otherwise interfere with other members. In the event that a member intimidates, judges, harasses or otherwise interferes with another member, Curiosity Knocks Inc., at its sole discretion, may terminate that person’s membership.
Curiosity Knocks Inc. reserves the right to terminate a member’s membership at its discretion, for instance, in the event of a member being convicted of a serious offence or inappropriate behaviour towards one of our members.
Curiosity Knocks Inc.is the only entity to represent Curiosity Knocks Inc.in any relationship with the public and via the media.
Each member agrees not to take any action or make any claim against Curiosity Knocks Inc..
Each member will indemnify Curiosity Knocks Inc. against any liability for any statement or action a member may make or takes that result in liability for Curiosity Knocks Inc.
Policies are subject to change at any time.
Memberships may be terminated or revoked at any time at the discretion of Curiosity Knocks Inc. for the failure of members to comply with its Terms and Conditions.
Return Policy
CuriosityKnocks.com and most sellers on Curiosityknocks.com offer returns for items within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of shipment products. If you received a defective item that is sold by Curiosityknocks.com and need to replace it with the same item, send an email to info@curiosityknocks.com to request a replacement. Items that are fulfilled by Curiosityknocks.com can not be replaced, but may be returned.
Delivery Policy
First orders of eligible items and orders including $35 or more qualify for Free shipping within Canada. First orders of eligible items and orders including $60 or more qualify for Free shipping internationally. All purchases will be applicable to Canada HST 13% taxable. Shipping: Canada Free standard shipping for eligible items and orders including $75.00 or more. International Free standard shipping for eligible items or orders including $100.00 or more.
Membership Fees
Fees are not refundable for memberships or any other Curiosity Knocks Inc. events or activities.
Fees are not transferrable unless the fees are transferred to another members membership.
Memberships are automatically renewed. Non renewals require a confirmation in writing 15 days before renewal date.
Continuing membership fees are due for payment 7 days prior to the end of the membership period.
Upon renewal and the member’s payment of the next period’s fees, the membership will be extended.
If membership fees are not paid within 10 days of the due date, the member will be excluded from the Curiosity Knocks Inc.
If you are having difficulty with renewal payments, please speak to our team. This will be treated as confidential.
Curiosity Knocks Inc. reserves the right to alter, change or cancel an event or activity at any time.
In the event that an event or activity is altered, changed or cancelled members and guests booked for the events or activities will be advised. Members and guests will be offered a credit or refund at the discretion of Curiosity Knocks Inc.
Members will be expected to arrive at the Curiosity Knocks Inc. on time at the events or activities and be in attendance for its entire duration.
Privacy Policy
Curiosity Knocks Inc. will collect personal information about you. Our primary purpose in collecting this personal information is to enable us to provide appropriate services to you. We require this information to communicate promotional offers, social and business referrals and speciality events, activities, newsletters and contest details, internal administrative, marketing, planning and promotional development.
Under privacy principles, you may access your personal information held by Curiosity Knocks Inc.
Limitations on liability
Notwithstanding any other provisions of the Agreement, any liability to members involving Curiosity Knocks Inc. and its officers, agents and representatives for any cause whatsoever arising from the breach of the conditions or warranties, if any, in this Agreement, related to this Agreement, or membership or participation in Curiosity Knocks Inc. and regardless of the form of action, will to the extent permitted by law be limited to the amount of any membership dues paid by you for the membership in Curiosity Knocks Inc.
